About Chaplain’s Eagles


Introduction

 
Chaplain’s Eagles Inc. is an interdenominational religious organization assigned the by the Los Angeles County Probation Department to represent all Protestant Religious faiths and others equally at the County’s three juvenile halls, 18 camps and one treatment center.  We orient and supervise the activities of all Protestant volunteers so that they may successfully minister to the youth serve at each juvenile hall and camps.
 

Our goal is to compassionately provide pastoral care in response to the needs of the youth seeking religious guidance and to protect the physical and spiritual welfare of the youth.
 

The physical is accomplished by adhering to the rules, regulations and standards of the Los Angeles County Probation Department.  The spiritual includes providing a full chaplaincy program consisting of the following:

 Sunday School (Juvenile Halls only)Sunday Worship ServicesBible StudiesOne-on-One Religious CounselingSpecial Activities – concerts, plays, car shows, Thanksgiving & Christmas Dinner, etc.Distributing bibles and other religious materialClergy visitsMeeting the Religious rights of all youth

A.           Chaplain’s Eagles Inc. believes in Encouraging Adolescents to Grow, Learn, Excel and Share through the unadulterated Word of God.


B.           The dedication and personal commitment of all our staff is to the youth, volunteers, and Probation staff regardless of race, color, creed, religious or sexual persuasion.


C.           We seek to utilize the opportunities offered by the Christian community.


D.           We seek to act as a liaison between the Christian community and the Los Angeles County Probation Department.
