Orientations are held at Barry J. Nidorf Juvenile Hall, Challenger Memorial Youth Center and Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall are at night only. *Orientation is held at Central Juvenile Hall on Saturdays only from 12 Noon to 2 p.m. on the above dates. To allow time for check in, please plan to arrive at all orientations 30 minutes early. Anyone arriving over 15 minutes after the start of orientation may not be allowed admittance.

ORIENTATION GUIDELINES AND DRESS CODE
Probation’s Juvenile Halls and Camps have rules and regulations to insure the safety and security of the youth, staff, volunteers and visitors. Potential volunteers and visitors who attend an orientation will be entering a correctional institution environment and must abide by these rules.
BRING ONLY THE FOLLOWING ITEMS: Driver license (or California ID) a single car key (no house keys), a note pad and pencil.
DO NOT BRING: Bibles, handouts or tracks, purses, valuables, backpacks, briefcases, cell phones, cameras, computerized games or devices.
NO ONE UNDER 21 YEARS OF AGE IS ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE.
DRESS CODE
(For both
Male & Female where applicable)
1. NO shorts, short skirts or short dresses.
2. NO sleeveless or low-cut blouses.
3. NO see-through clothing.
4. NO excessive jewelry.
5. NO clothing with inappropriate logos, including any related to alcohol or drugs.
6. NO gang style clothing.
7. NO sandals, open-toed shoe, spike heels or shoes over 2 inches shoes.
8. NO tank tops.
9. NO midriff showing.
NOTE: ANYONE VIOLATING THESE REQUIREMENTS, INSTRUCTIONS OR DRESS CODE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE FACILITIES.
